Life as a Wonderbly Delivery Coordinator, Technology

We are looking for a Delivery Coordinator to join our Technology team at Wonderbly and help us deliver the world's most remarkable bookshop. Take a look at our very special books and the digital experience that surrounds them at www.wonderbly.com - this is the website that you would be helping us take to the next level, working for our VP of Product and collaborating with product managers, designers, engineers and more, across our multiple squads for Ecommerce, Publishing and Platform.

We would like to hire someone with experience shipping software and who can demonstrate a basic understanding of design, technology and data principles. You’ll have a vested stake in the successful, agile delivery of projects, big and small, sometimes spanning multiple teams, while being unafraid to take risks and learn from your mistakes. You will also ensure the team knows what each other is working on and how this relates to Wonderbly’s objectives and user needs.

A bit about you

This is a junior-to-mid level role suitable for someone who wants to have an impact on delivery in a smaller, growing company, while having an opportunity to develop their skills across delivery, product, and more.

This is a multi-disciplinary role and we’re open to hearing from people with diverse backgrounds. We believe the best teams have people that have arrived from very different start points. You could have started your career in engineering, consulting or a commercial role … or maybe something totally unexpected.

Above all we are looking for someone who enjoys learning and shipping in equal measure and takes both processes very seriously. In addition, if you are clearly passionate about books and children’s media that would also be a huge bonus.

What we’d love to see

• A good understanding of all things digital is a must. You’ll spend a lot of time working with our content management systems so showing a basic understanding of how software systems work, and the role of content in digital marketing and ecommerce, is essential
• You’ll be quick to pick up technical ideas and tools, like new platforms and software
• A delivery pro - you have a knack for delivering things in the right order, on time, and with accuracy
• Process, accuracy and details are important for this role, so you should consider yourself a stickler for the little things
• You will have good working knowledge of G-suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Whatever your background you’ll need to provide evidence of good time management and communication skills from your previous projects
• We’d love to see you able to demonstrate strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• Having some basic knowledge and comfort in HTML/CSS
• Previous experience with analytics and/or AB testing platforms would be a bonus
• A passion to help us deliver on our mission to inspire self belief in every child
