Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network is a state-wide Specialty Health Network delivering health care to adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems across community, inpatient and custodial settings.
What you'll be doing
This position is primarily responsible for driving the development and enhancement of data analytics dashboards/applications within the Business Intelligence (BI) platform to deliver health intelligence through innovative data management and visualisation services within the Network. It also is to provide technical lead into data management and data integrity required for Ministry of Health led projects.

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Software Development/Engineering, or Computer Science and/or extensive experience in performance reporting and Business Intelligence tool development within a healthcare setting.
Proven experience in building high-quality scalable and predictable BI solutions using Qlik with strong all round skills in design and development of interactive analytic tools.
High level skills and experience using SQL, including creating complex views and stored procedures. Experience using MS SQL Server 2008 or higher is preferable.
High standard of communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to consult, negotiate, and carry out presentations and engagement sessions with key stakeholders at all levels with the ability to create technical and functional specifications.
Proven experience in the technical design and development of scalable databases, data warehouses, data marts using Microsoft SQL Server.
Excellent conceptual and analytical skills with a proven ability to solve problems including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources and deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to problem solve, prioritise workload and meet deadlines, both autonomously and within a team in an environment with minimal supervision.
Advanced knowledge of Data warehouse and Business Intelligence platform security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards.
