Verisk is seeking a Developer II to join its Casualty Solutions division in Jersey City, NJ. The successful candidate will have experience developing software in a team-oriented commercial environment. We are seeking a strong .NET developer responsible for building .NET applications using C#, ASP.Net, Web API, Angular and MS SQL. Knowledge in Python and AWS services are preferred. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting .NET projects using modern technologies and completing specific client work, projects and miscellaneous tasks while ensuring commitment and quality through to completion. The candidate also will participate in code deployments to several server environments by following change management policies.

Job Description

Data entry of documents received from clients into LMITS, a software program utilized at Opta

Sort boxes and mail, scanning mail as required

Coordinate the resolution of all inquiries and concerns either directly or by working with Opta management, support resources and strategic partners.

Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Excellent data entry skills; with high degree of speed and accuracy

Good working knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance is an asset

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
