A company in the Transport industry is working with Robert Half to find a candidate with a strong sense of initiative and determined to start their career as a highly-skilled Data Entry Clerk. We are looking for a data-driven expert who has great attention to detail and looking to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment. You will need to have intermediate experience in spreadsheets and proficiency in database management. Do you have quick and accurate typing skills and impeccable organization? Then this is the Data Entry Specialist position for you. This long-term contract Data Entry Clerk role is based in the North Vancouver, British Columbia area.
How you will make an impact
- Submit information into spreadsheets, databases and customer relationship management systems
- Search for additional information for documents that are deemed incomplete
- Correct, verify, and delete non-required data and combine data from several different sources
- Preserve detailed records of tasks, files, and progress
- Inspect reports and sheets of data
- Analyze completed work for duplications or errors in content before submitting the final product
- Perform searches on websites for information
- Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
- Ideal candidate must have adept computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
- Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
- Data entry experience
- 1+ years of related experience
- Consistent typing accuracy
