RESPONSIBILITIES:
Entering all perioperative related data into computer systems such as the CPM, WTIS, ORBC Benchmarking and/or populating spreadsheets/database.
Clarifying unusual data before entry to ensure data correctness.
Identifying data discrepancies appearing in the routine and making appropriate changes to resolve them.
Scheduling, canceling and moving appointments in the CPM system when there is a shortage of scheduling staff.
Assisting the WTIS Coordinator and Database Analyst in entering information.
Performing general office and data entry duties when required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with Centricity Perioperative Manager (CPM), or similar software, is essential.
Familiarity with a wide variety of sophisticated software and hardware tools that allow for the control, monitoring, reporting and analysis of software application performance.
Medical terminology and experience in a health care setting an asset.
High school diploma and completion of relevant computer courses required.
Excellent keyboarding with a demonstrated attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have an excellent attendance record.
HOURS: Regular office hours.
