Sitting in our the Customer Data Platform Team you will be part of a highly motivated, collaborative team that is empowered to do great things within data. The CRM Team will focus on providing data for all of Customers’ marketing activity, using Machine Learning, AI and automation of marketing campaigns and provide data insight for our customer contact strategy.
The Customer Data Platform Team develops, tests, productionises and maintains our data platform infrastructure to ensure that data application developers are shielded from evolving complexities of underlying infrastructure. Our data platform encompasses several core components – a data lake where raw and processed data are stored, an analytics platform where data is cleansed and transformed and a data warehouse where structured data is stored.

As a Data Architect within our data architecture and modelling team, you’ll produce data architecture and modelling designs to support all customer data platform initiatives. The role will be primarily focussed on data warehouse design however you’ll be required to support wider data architecture initiatives in conjunction with IT solution architecture.
You’ll be expected to create data models and amend existing models that underpin reporting, insight and analytical solutions. Alongside this, you’ll ensure the correct industry tools are used for data modelling and practice industry recognised data modelling patterns and standards.
Working closely with the enterprise architecture and engineering teams, you’ll understand and maintain a variety of data management tools, metadata repositories, data lineages, data dictionaries and data glossaries to enable the organisation to understand their data assets. Within this role you’ll champion and communicate business benefits of data standards and governing those standards across the organisation.
