About the Team
The Revenue Assurance team are a focused group of managers and analysts supporting all business units across TalkTalk, providing expert insight and recommendations using in-house controls and reporting that are owned and maintained by the team.
Their role is to verify costs across our business to ensure we are within budget for spend and also ensure risks are effectively managed.
About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst with advanced Excel skills to join the team and help safeguard TalkTalk’s financial position.
As a TalkTalk Data Analyst, your day-to-day duties will involve the handling and interpretation of a wide variety of datasets using a suite of tools at your disposal (Excel, Power Query/Power BI, SQL)
To be successful in this role, you will need to use your passion for analysis to provide insight into key trends and discrepancies. A meticulous and curious approach will help you to challenge outputs and drive actionable outcomes to completion.

How I can add value?
You'll develop a full understanding of processes and controls that drive revenue and cost at TalkTalk
You'll engage with business stakeholders to identify and interpret risks / needs, provide controls insight and drive the RMA agenda with clear accountabilities and balancing business support with challenge
You'll analyse data, processes and controls within the end to end control frameworks and recommend control improvements
You'll ensure risks from business change (i.e. pricing, product & system projects) are effectively documented and captured, to reduce issues by “designing out†failure
You'll undertake activities that detect, investigate, manage and monitor risks that contribute to the achievement of financial targets
Analyse information to respond to, defend and drive regulatory reviews
What do I need in order to be successful?
You'll have advanced Excel skills - i.e. creating pivot tables and V-lookups won't be an issue for you.
You'll be able to demonstrate experience of process improvement.
You'll be an analytical, critical thinker with a logical approach to problem solving
It would be beneficial (but not essential) for you to also have:
A revenue/cost assurance background
Financial / commercial experience
Knowledge and experience of PL/SQL
Risk management background
