ADGA is hiring an experienced Cyber Security Solutions Architect to assist with leading our converged security services offerings. This is a permanent, full-time position within ADGA. This role will work closely within the broader team in the pursuit and delivery of cyber security projects as part of a wholistic approach to security overall.  He/she will guide the development of cyber security capabilities and lead projects on behalf of ADGA.  Experience delivering cyber security projects within the Federal Government will be considered a strong asset, but the role will involve clients from across the public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working in an IT/Cyber security-related field
• 5+ years working in a Managerial IT/Cyber Security Role
• Demonstrated experience with drafting, implementing, and publishing security policy and policy instruments
• Demonstrated knowledge of security industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800 series, ITSGs, ITIL, PCI)
• Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise risk management approaches and practices
• University Degree in Computer Science, IT Security and/or a related field or relevant working experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Government of Canada information technology security policies, directives, standards and guidelines (e.g., Policy on Government Security, management of information technology security, ITSG-22/33/38, Directive on Departmental Security Management) will be considered a strong asset
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Government of Canada Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (HTRA) methodology will be considered a strong asset
• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret level (or higher) security clearance
