About the Role:

SoftLabs is looking for Cyber Security Architect for Agile delivery and Governance at their technology consulting based in Canberra.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing and providing constructive advice on architectural designs from a cyber security perspective

Providing leadership through the active consideration and resolution of cyber security concerns at the ADA and TDA

Producing quality cyber security documentation and commentary

Effectively communicating security concepts and controls to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Providing considered security advice to stakeholders, team members and Executive

Taking direction from the ITSA and representing the ITSA as and when required

Facilitating and negotiating discussions to an agreeable decision

on guidance through ongoing support and maintenance of Linux and related products

Essential skills and experience:

The successful candidate will have the IT skills and relevant work experience, in conjunction with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement

Ability to work as part of an agile team and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders is also a requirement

5 years’ experience as a security architect/security specialist

Extensive experience in ISM, PSPF and the IRAP process

Experience working in large/complex ICT environments with a focus on Microsoft technologies

Demonstrated security relevant experience in Azure cloud services and Office-365 including Azure-AD, OMS, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS

Extensive knowledge of Australian Government Policies and frameworks relating to Government Services

Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and demonstrate system features to stakeholders, team members and Executive

Facilitate and negotiate discussions to an agreeable decision
