This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC) team, who are a team of security professionals working hard to proactively to protect Sky from cyber related threats.

What you'll do:

• Recognise and understand DLP use cases across the business serving as the subject matter expert
• Integrate or enhance all DLP log sources with SIEM and create correlation rules or models to alert on potential security incidents/breaches
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, troubleshoot issues with log sources and systems with vendor, and report system defects as required
• Review L1, L2 and L3 SOC activities with a view to automate, enhance or augment human capability where possible.
• Document your work, carefully and articulately

What you'll bring:

• Experience of any User Behaviour and Entity Analytics (UEBA) tools (Exabeam, Splunk UBA, Cynet, Rapid7, Forcepoint, Symantec)
• Familiarity of performing actions via REST API's and experience with developing in HTML, XML, CSS, Bash, JAVA and Python scripting
• Personal research for information security (white papers, attack vectors, security advisories, vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques).
• Experience with AWS and Google cloud computing services and Microservices architecture
