We’re looking for someone who is friendly and reliable, has an interest in food, enjoys talking to people, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during busy times, can be proactive, and can complete tasks with an attention to detail. Responsibilities will include interacting with customers, being knowledgeable about our food and products, taking orders, using our POS system, grilling sandwiches, assembling salads, making espresso and other specialty coffee and tea beverages, light prep work like prepping for smoothies, washing dishes, cleaning, putting away deliveries, organizing store display areas, and other tasks that may arise. A large part of the day is spent on our feet and some lifting of heavy boxes is required when we are putting away deliveries. Training will be provided.

Compensation will be based on experience in the range of $17-20/hr base rate plus tips which average around $4/hr and would bring the total compensation range to $21-24/hr. We will also be offering a Health Spending Account as well as meals and discounts.

We are looking for someone who can work 5 days per week, 35-40 hours, including 2 evenings (usually finishing around 830pm on evening shifts) and 1 weekend day.
