Job Description:

Service Foods is a New Zealand wide company specialising in Food service. We supply to Cafes, Restaurants, Hotels, Manufacturers, Retailers, Distributors and exporters nationwide with a broad selection of imported and locally manufactured food products. 

Our core product areas are across dry, frozen and chilled departments. At Service Foods, our philosophy ensures that we come to work every day to make a difference to the lives of the people we deal with.

Our Tauranga branch at Greerton has an opportunity for a Customer Service Superstar to join their amazing team. The days and hours of work are approx. 5.30am am to 2 pm Monday and Friday and occasional Saturday from 5.30am to midday. 

We require a focused, thorough and motivated individual who enjoys all aspects of customer service duties along with an emphasis on ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the customer service process.

You would be: 

• Receiving orders via Phone, email, website and entering into the ERP system
• Discussing product options with customers
• Up-selling product lines
• Key customer support services
• Preparing quotations
• Assisting with administrative duties
• Invoicing 

The successful applicant will possess the following skills, qualities and attributes:

1. A great communicator with friendly and confident phone manner
2. Excellent English speaking, reading & writing skills and reasonably good arithmetic skills are required
3. Speaking Cantonese or Mandarin is a bonus
4. Excellent computer skills - proficiency in all Microsoft basic applications
5. Current full NZ driver's license
6. Time management skills are necessary
7. Attention to detail
8. Prior NZ experience within this field will be an advantage but not essential.
