Service Foods Limited is a New Zealand wide company specialising in Food service. We supply to Cafes, Restaurants, Hotels, Manufacturers, Retailers, Distributors and exporters nationwide with a broad selection of imported and locally produced food products. We are a very high growth company and has great plans for the New Zealand food service market. At Service Foods, our philosophy ensures that we come to work every day to make a difference to the lives of the people we deal with.We are looking for a Customer Service Superstar to join our Customer Service team based at our Auckland Branch in Mangere, near Airport area. 

This is a Maternity Leave role for 12 months commencing mid-May. The hours of work will be 7.00 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays. 

We require a focused, thorough and motivated individual who enjoys all aspects of customer service duties along with an emphasis on ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the customer service process.

You would be: 

• Receiving orders via Phone, fax, email, website and entering into the ERP system
• Discussing product options with customers
• Up-selling product lines
• Key customer support services
• Preparing quotations
• Assisting with administrative duties

The successful applicant will possess the following skills, qualities and attributes:

1. A great communicator with friendly and confident phone manner
2. Excellent English speaking, reading & writing skills and reasonably good arithmetic skills are required
3. Speaking Cantonese or Mandarin is a bonus, not mandatory
4. Intermediate computer skills - proficiency in all Microsoft basic applications
5. Current full NZ drivers license
6. Basic Time management skills are necessary
7. Attention to detail
8. Prior NZ experience within this field will be an advantage but not essential.
9. Knowledge of basic food ingredients is essential.
