Robert Half has an excellent job opportunity for an articulate, highly-skilled Customer Service Representative looking to expand their career. Are you always outgoing and sociable? This could be a great position for you. This position will operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This Customer Service Representative opportunity is located in North York, Ontario, and is a long-term contract / temporary engagement.

Your responsibilities

- Organize and route incoming telephone calls

- Manage the fielding and sending of important written business correspondence

- Deliver outstanding, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

- By being successful in your role, you will facilitate business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

Requirements

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Enthusiastic attitude and an engaging businesslike approach

- Demonstrated experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

- Hands-on knowledge of MS Office Suite

- Strong customer service and office administrative skills

- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

- 2+ years' experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired

- Demonstrated talents in communicating and interacting with clients/customers, both internal and external

- General familiarity with customer service

- Quality experience with communication

- Expertise in Big Box Retail

- Practical knowledge of Call Center Customer Service

- Well-founded grasp of Supply Chain Logistics

- Deep understanding of retail

- Retail Operation experience

- Proven knowledge of Merchandising

- Experience with Merchandising

- Big Box Retail experience

- Excellent oral and written communications skills
