About the role:
Advance Trident is a leading New Zealand distributor of world class Of electronics and electrical products for the marine, automotive and RV markets. We are a family owned business with a 25 year history and are looking for a superstar to come aboard. 

This is a full time customer service and marketing role and is based at our head office in Ellerslie, which operates from Monday to Friday. Every day at work will be different and exciting and the candidate will be challenged with varied tasks and projects.

The role includes: 
Customer Service

  • Working closely with our trade dealer network and OEM customers. 
  • Direct sales contact within our showroom and on the phone.
  • Maintaining a high standard with the display products within the showroom 
  • Assist with the set up of our Trade Shows and weekend work will be required several times a year during key shows. 

Marketing Support

  • Create, Publish and promote Content in conjunction with the product manager to keep regular communication to B2B customers - for both print and digital media
  • Work with Google SEO and adwords provider to ensure we are at a high position on Google searches
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing our company website and trade dealer portal
  • Responsible for social media content on our platforms already in place – Facebook and Instagram. 

About you:

You have retail/trade sales experience and a up and coming marketer with a tertiary degree, and you are ready for your next step in a role within the engine room of a business. You are: 

  • A keen fisherman, boatie or just love the outdoors 
  • A star all-rounder for both customer service and marketing
  • Well presented and professional. 
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Fast learner and the ability to retain information quickly. 
  • A self starter and able to work well in a team or alone. 
  • Proficient in MS Office and/or design software. 
  • A problem solver with the willingness to help others. 
  • Experienced with ERP Systems (highly desirable)
  • Electronics, electrical or technical experience would be an advantage 
  • 1-2 years work experience, and/or tertiary degree or trade is preferable
