Responsibilities

As the CEPM Manager (CEPMM) you will work with the CE Ops Manager (CEOM) of DC Operations and partner with peer CEPM Managers and Assisting CE Ops Managers to drive and implement consistent programs at all datacenters globally. With your team, you will enable the build out, onboarding and operationalization of new datacenter capacity and you will be expected to actively participate in the incident and outage process to ensure proper root cause analysis and appropriate follow-up with affected site contacts. This role calls for a balance of leadership, influence skills, supportive individual contributions, and expertise in enterprise-level operations. You must be able to work well under pressure and deadlines, as well be able to support some regional and international travel.

Leading and managing a team of CE Program Managers and their ongoing talent development

Data Center Operations / Service Delivery:

Managing and overseeing our CE Programs for the portfolio

Collaborating and coordinating with multiple internal business groups to ensure the successful delivery of service levels

Analyzing production operations and initiate corrective actions to ensure operational stability

Initiate and establish quality standards for the Datacenter teams and manage those initiatives through to completion

Holds team accountable for compliance with service change policies. Documents and drives alignment on dependencies, supplier contracts, success metrics, resource readiness, operational, supportability, and manageability criteria.

Drives translation of KPIs and OKRs for local teams.

Leads communication and resolution of issues. Applies deep subject matter expertise and escalates to meet SLA/OLAs with minimal disruption.

Accountable for end-to-end service compliance and quality.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:  

High School Diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in a datacenter or other mission-critical service environment(e.g., high-availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields)

3+ years’ experience in leading a diverse, technical team.

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) AND 5+ years’ experience working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling) AND Experience managing budget $500k+.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Applicable certifications: ASICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, CCNA Certifications, ITIL v3 Foundation, Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) Certifications, Leadership Development Certifications, PMP, CDCP.

Audiometric Screening: To promote health and safety in the workplace, employees are subject to required health related screenings, such as hearing testing, which includes both baseline testing and annual retests.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
