The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

You'll play a pivotal role within our workforce, pre-screening all visitors who come through our main entrances, keeping our patients safe and helping maintain a record of who is entering Whakatāne hospital.

As part of the Front of House team you will support and mannaki our patients and their whānau through the commencement of their journey through our health services.

We require fixed-term staff until 30 June 2022 in a variety of shifts for a 24/7 period. These shifts comprise of days, evenings, and late nights.

Join our Front of Hospital Team and we will provide you with all the orientation and training support from our collective project team.

About you | Ko wai koe

This is a front-line role dealing with patients and their families where customer-focused skills are important. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to have great customer service, the ability to work under pressure and be able to de-escalate stressful situations. If you have experience in front of house jobs such as receptionist/administrator or in person customer service roles - we want to hear from you. Health Care experience is also an asset.
