What you’ll do:

• Continuously optimise existing product formulations based on customer feedback
• Formulate new and exciting UV/LED cured coatings for cosmetic applications
• Lead the R&D on cutting-edge bio-based cosmetic product formulations
• Inspect, create and maintain quality checks for our products
• Gain familiarity with the cosmetic regulatory environment
• Managing Incoming goods and finished product quality

What you’ll have:

• Knowledge of formulations and generating associated material safety datasheet for the new products
• Ability to design formulations for specific applications
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ideally previous experience in a related role within the Cosmetics Industry in a laboratory environment, minimum 1 year, although similar industry experience will be considered
• Good communication skills
• Proficient report writer with the ability to deliver presentations, product testing and analytics
• Looks to solve problems and find solutions adopting practical skills and pragmatism
• Is self-motivated, resilient, and self-reliant
• A degree in Chemistry is essential for this role could also suit MSc or PhD in Chemistry, polymer science or material science
• Ability to commute / relocate to central London (SE5 0BU) from Monday to Friday
