Job Description Summary
PwC Law LLP is an independent law firm affiliated with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Canada. We provide Canadian tax and corporate law advice and legal representation to Canadian and international clients, with lawyers based in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Halifax, Ottawa and Vancouver. We are seeking a corporate law clerk to join our PwC Law team. Our practice is
centered on business law advisory and transactional implementation for PwC clients, including domestic and international business reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions. We work in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (Canada) and the PwC international network, to bring integrated, high quality business law solutions to PwC clients. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to work with national and international clients and advisors. What you’ll create and do
As a Law clerk, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively assist in the management of clients and transactions
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
Engage in legal analysis, advise on and participate in the implementation of corporate transactions
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
What you’ll bring to this role

Strong transactional experience in a busy corporate/commercial practice
