As a Cook in our Logistics site, you’ll be providing our hard working colleagues with good hearty meals to look forward to whilst they’re at work. Taking control of planning the menu, linking it to key events and national celebrations, you’ll also prepare and cook the food. 

You’ll maintain excellent quality and hygiene standards, as well as food safety standards and will enjoy working at pace whilst delivering tasty meals for our colleagues. A real focus will be on excellent customer service, in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment.

About You

You’ll be the kind of person who:

• Has experience in cooking a wide variety of dishes to suit a range of dietary requirements, with a focus on healthy and nutritious meals
• Has great time management, communication and problem solving skills
• Thrives in a busy environment and enjoys working as part of a team, with experience of preparing meals for large volumes of customers (between 200 to 1,500 daily)
• Ideally has Food Safety Level 2 and is COSHH trained (although we can provide this training if required)
