Robert Half has a current job opening for Controller in Chilliwack BC for a dynamic manufacturing company! This position will report to the President and CFO (head office) and will work on-site full time. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial activities, providing strategic insight, leading key projects, guiding the staff, and liaising with the operations departments. As part of the senior leadership team, you will partake in the business growth and strategy meetings, provide feedback on areas of improvement and steer the financial planning process for the mid-size operation.

Your key job functions will include:

• Preparing timely financial reports and presenting the financial results to the key stakeholders
• Managing the budgeting and forecasting process 
• Managing the costing and inventory for the entity including making improvements, as necessary
• Performing high-level financial analysis including variance reporting, operational reporting, cost/ benefit analysis, and adhoc analysis as needed for business planning
• Managing the cash flow process for the entity 
• Leading the annual audit process and liaising with external accountants, as required
• Managing the working relationship with the financial institutes and other external stakeholders 
• Liaise with the senior leadership team on strategic insight and initiatives
• Provide financial support and insight for business growth and planning initiatives

Must Haves:

• 3+ years of experience at the Controllership / Assistant Controllership level is required
• Strong preference for manufacturing/ production sectors with hands-on experience in costing and inventory management 
• CPA enrolled/ designated will be an asset
• ERP implementation expand hands-on background with ERP systems will be a huge asset 
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Excel Skills
