About the team
This role sits in the Commercial Services team of TfNSW working within the Development Branch. The role will move to the Sydney Project Delivery Branch, along with other M12 Motorway project team members, for the delivery phase of the project.
The Commercial Services team supports the procurement and delivery of all TfNSW infrastructure projects by providing contract management, commercial governance and controls to projects, whilst driving transformative initiatives in performance and risk management.
The M12 Motorway project involves the development and construction of a motorway grade road between the M7 Motorway and The Northern Road. Providing a gateway to the new Western Sydney International Airport.
The opportunity
Right now, we have a fixed term full-time opportunity for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join the Commercial Services team for the M12 Motorway project.
You will provide targeted support in contract management, service variations, and contract documentation to ensure suppliers comply with their contractual obligations, including performance standards. You will also contribute to commercial engagements including tenders, evaluations, and supplier negotiations to ensure that service contracts reflect strategic transport outcomes and short to medium term planning requirements.
The Senior Contracts Administrator will model good leadership to inspire direction and delivery, develop people and drive change. You will cover all facets of the contract lifecycle from development to tendering, contract management and closure.

About you
You will have proven experience and expertise in contract administration for infrastructure projects, including being responsible for providing support and timely advice, managing systems, and reporting of contracts. You will be working closely with the Commercial Manager providing timely advice and working on complex issues, as well as supporting the contract administrators.
You will have Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 8 ($120,423.00) – ($134,872.00) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading. For more information on Employee Benefits at TfNSW please click here.
