Spilt between the Leigh and Whangarei campuses, the Contract Services Supervisor will be responsible for the operational management and service delivery of contractors onsite undertaking various facilities maintenance activities to ensure alignment with the University's Strategic and Estate Plans.
For Facilities Management, the Supervisor will be the key point of contact for emergency (critical) response management across both campuses.
The campuses offer a diverse range of facilities whose requirements vary widely. Leigh research facility focuses on developing a greater understanding of the marine environment, while Whangarei is a more educational focused campus.

You will be an experienced facilities management expert and have demonstrated experience with contract management. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to liaise with faculty staff and students around maintenance activity, facilitate the maintenance of the facilities, whilst driving the quality and completion of work undertaken by the University's contractors.
As a quick thinker, you're able to understand the complexities of largescale facilities in varying conditions and advise on appropriate solutions.
Given that these sites sit geographically outside of the main Auckland metropolitan hub you will be entrusted with their facilities management. Therefore, you will need to be self-motivated, innovative and a forward thinking. You'll be able to lead the reactive and proactive upkeep of facilities across minor and major projects.
