Robert Half is hiring now for an experienced Business Analyst to fulfill a long-term contract/temporary role for our client. As the successful Candidate you will work in collaboration with business owners to implement required business processes that can be supported by the business applications (i.e. eXtend ERP system), with the objective to optimize the total process end-to-end. This role is involved in collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate how best to meet the business needs using new and supported systems for the remanufacturing, service, and warranty business zones Can you analyze customer needs and address those needs by developing a clear plan of action? If you're a driven individual with strong communication skills and a firm technical grasp, you'd make a prime candidate for this position. This role is based in Edmonton, AB.

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

• 5 + years related working experience in a Business Analyst role with knowledge of and previous experience in service, manufacturing, remanufacturing and/or warranty industries is an asset
• Proficient ERP experience
• Hands on experience and ability to providing Tier 3 support (ERP eXtend is a definite asset)
• Expertise and thorough understanding of business processes, data structure, reporting and internal controls
• Ability to multi-task and contribute to more than one project at a time under strict timelines
• Above average communication and interpersonal skills - ability to quickly understand and accurately interpret meaning, purpose, and importance. Ability to facilitate operational meetings
• Ability to travel to where the work needs to be done and to work effectively in a distributed team environment that includes external stakeholders, other business analysts, support specialists and management 
• Ability to proactively identify and manage risk
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving competencies, with the ability for creative, workable solutions with established policies and a customer focused approach to resolving issues.
• Diploma, certificate, or other post-secondary education in a related field
