The opportunity
We have several exciting opportunities for experienced contract managers to join Transport for NSW. In this role you will develop, refine and implement contract management processes and strategies, in accordance with the Contract Management Plan and approved procedures, to achieve delivery of contractual obligations to agreed standards.
This role operates with a high level of autonomy and is expected to determine key operational objectives within the limits of delegated authority. It is accountable for the delivery of assigned work and for the quality, integrity and validity of the service provided.
It refers to the Manager on issues that have a significant political impact or issues outside of financial delegation.
Key accountabilities:
Co-ordinate the contractual performance of assigned contracts in line with the KPI Scorecard and associated Contract Performance review meetings.
Identify and escalate contract and service delivery risks and issues as appropriate and carry out effective remediation strategies to meet organisational objectives.
Liaise with the Legal business unit to manage dispute and claim resolutions in a timely manner ensuring conformance with contractual processes and associated statutory obligations.
Prepare and co-ordinate the required Contract Management documentation including, but not limited to, Contract Management Plans, meeting agendas/minutes, risk frameworks, KPI Scorecards, contract variation documentation, issue/dispute communications, securities, guarantees and insurance documentation.

About you
You will have relevant qualifications in procurement, law, commerce, business or economics and/or equivalent industry experience in contract management, preferably in a commercial environment.
Together with the proven ability to implement procurement contract management frameworks and control self-assurance processes across business activities, you will have experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders while exercising discretion, confidentiality, and political sensitivity.
Demonstrated experience in providing high-level clerical and adminstrative services with a high-level attention to detail and the capacity to complete several tasks concurrently.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 8A, $118,015 – 8E $132,176 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
