About the Team

The Commercial & Supply Chain Division ensures the supply of materials and services at the right price, quantity, quality, location and time for the Maintenance Directorate to support the provision of a world-class railway.  The division encompasses Supply Chain Performance and Planning, Contract Management, Manufacturing, Refurbishment and Logistics Services and Commercial Management for Sydney Trains. You will be employed within the Maintenance Contracts team of the division.  This team manages in excess of 300 contracts with approximately $600M spend per annum.

 

The opportunity

Right now, we have exciting opportunities for a Contract Delivery Specialist/Manager to join our Maintenance Contracts team to manage Construction, Operations, Maintenance Services and Inventory contracts.

 

Do work that matters

Manage supplier performance using a balanced scorecard process

Implement innovations or improvements to existing contracts.

Support the procurement process and implementation of new external suppliers.

Support the development of plans (& implementation if required) to ensure continuity of supply for essential goods & services.

 

About you

You are a seasoned Contract Manager with demonstrated experience in managing significant contracts, preferably from Engineering/Construction/Infrastructure/Fleet industry.

You will be accustomed to working on high value, complex contracts, supporting a large business or government organisation.

 

You will be a highly organised individual with strong communications & influencing skills and a can do attitude. 

 

A degree in law, commerce or engineering, previous experience in managing Construction or Maintenance contracts, and knowledge of Ariba & SAP will be highly regarded.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is RC7 ($143,555 - $157,945) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
