Māori Television is committed to the revitalisation of te reo Māori me ngā tikanga Māori by delivering great Māori content through television programmes, events, and online media. 

We connect with our niche audiences by showcasing content that enlarges and increases their influence over matters that are important to them. Our creative content hub courageously showcases authentic realities of our audiences and the differing views to those portrayed by mainstream media. 

We are looking for an experienced, creative and multi-skilled storyteller with extensive experience in the digital space, television, film or a similar industry.  Are you a producer who can also direct? A good writer when it comes to development or scripting, if you've answered YES to all of the above, we want to hear from you!

This is a fantastic role that will suit someone with the following skills and experience:

• Me matatau ki te kōrero, ki te tuhi hoki i te reo Māori me te reo Pākehā 
• Multi-craft skills (Some experience in Producer, directing, and script writing and development)
• Demonstrated creativity
