This national project management firm has an excellent reputation in the construction market and is known for delivering high profile projects to both the public and private sector. Due to steady growth there is now a requirement for a project manager.

The company is relatively flat structured and believe strongly in professional development. In the public sector, they have strong relationships with MOE with a heavy future work pipeline, also private clients from mixed use apartments, subdivisional development, airport developments, general commercial warehousing and offices.

As a Project Manager, you will need to come from a construction consultancy background with proven experience on a broad range of commercial projects covering such areas as project management, project planning, procurement and contract administration and construction management. The ability to be flexible, nimble and adaptable to diverse projects is essential. Also, outstanding relationship building skills coupled with a strong history of delivery is required.

We are looking for applicants with 5-7 years of experience with a tertiary qualification in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, Engineering or Property. Helpful as well if you have acted as engineer to the contract. Sector experience of value is healthcare, aged care, and vertical buildings such as hotels.

• Project plan preparation and scheduling
• Cost control and quality management
• Risk management
• Tendering/procurement
• Leading meetings
• Design and pre-implementation management
• Report working and financial management
