CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
- Plan and oversee the construction of the project
- Accountable for managing multiple facets of the project, simultaneously, and of varying scope
- In collaboration with the senior management and as necessary, define the scope, deliverables, and requirements of various aspects of the project.
- Schedule the project with general contractors, consultants, suppliers, vendors and service providers to ensure project milestone agree with company expectations.
- Monitor project delivery against company milestones and take all actions necessary and appropriate to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements
- Consistent follow up with contractors, consultants, vendors and service providers on all project related action items
- Proactive in planning and taking initiative to identify issues causing delays and/or extra costs, and implement corrective actions.
- Accountable for requests of services and utilities required per project, as necessary.
- Identifies project risks and develops and implements mitigation and contingency plans.
- Oversee the activities of project team members and monitor project task completion.
- Coordinate all necessary jurisdictional inspections and approvals
- Accountable for requests of services and utilities required per project.
- Communicates weekly project status to all shareholders, or as frequently as required.
- This position requires the PM to be located on multiple site to manage site conditions and construction progress.
- Photo document site conditions as per company/client requirements and expectations
Job Qualifications
- Engineering degree or an equivalent combination of technical training
- Minimum of three to eight years of construction experience
- Self-motivated with ability to assume responsibility and to interface with the project team and represent the company and project team in a professional manner
- Must be hard-working and diligent
