Job Description:

  • Meet regularly with engineers, architects and contractors about project goals and progress.
  • Manage and motivate venue and team managers.
  • Ensure that all necessary equipment is available on site.
  • Make sure not to exceed budgeted costs related to wages, contractors, supplies and equipment.
  • Approve purchase requisitions. Ensure that construction starts and ends on time and meets daily and weekly deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and all other regulations.
  • Issue IS and VO to the project management board.
  • Perform permanent quality checks.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates for construction projects.
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and track progress against established schedules.
  • Drafting contracts and negotiating amendments, changes and supplements to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs.
  • Represent your business on matters such as business services and union contract negotiations.
  • Prepare progress reports and send progress schedules to clients.
  • Directing the purchase of building materials and land purchase.
  • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Construction Management.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Project, and CCS.
  • More than 5 years of experience in site management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution between different project members and staff. Outstanding negotiation, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
  • Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality.
  • Knowledge of job site safety practices required.
