Introduction:
Boeing’s Law and Global Compliance, Corporate Compliance organization, is looking for an experienced Compliance and Ethics Manager to lead a growing international team of driven, highly motivated compliance and ethics professionals.
The Role:
As the Compliance and Ethics Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing oversight of the compliance and ethics program across our Boeing International sites. In this role, you will support the business in promoting a strong ethical culture and embedding effective compliance risk management practices across our international sites.
The position will require partnering with key leaders, advising them of all relevant key regulatory changes to inform business planning and strategic decision making and aligning the team’s support to appropriately prevent, detect, and respond to ethics and compliance risks.
Responsibilities:
Promoting compliance and ethics as a top priority to the organization; fostering a culture where employees themselves own and embrace ethics and compliance; and providing coaching, as necessary.
Leading with integrity by promoting and empowering employees to speak-up, listening to them when they do, and guarding against retaliation.
Managing the implementation and on-going application of the company’s compliance risk management process within our international subsidiaries and ensuring that the requirements for managing compliance risks are consistently adopted and applied throughout the company.
Identifying ways to enhance, develop, implement, and execute ethics and compliance program initiatives in ways that resonate best across Boeing International and add the most value to our business.
Analyzing investigations metrics, business imperatives, external factors, and observations made through compliance risk assessments to develop tailored guidance and business solutions.
Building strong and effective relationships across the business and continuously engaging leadership to increase awareness and ensure mitigation of compliance and ethical risks in alignment with business objectives.
Meeting regularly with management to discuss compliance issues, coordinate efforts, and collaborate on ethics and compliance initiatives.
Providing guidance and direction to management and other personnel on all matters pertaining to ethics and compliance. Researching and responding to ethics and compliance questions as and when required.
Maintaining a solid understanding of new and proposed regulatory developments and assist with analyzing the impact of those developments on the ethics and compliance program
Execute special projects as needed, including assisting in development of new compliance tools/programs to address business needs and emerging risks
Work Authorisation:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Boeing has approval to
offer immigration sponsorship to the successful candidate if required. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll. This position does not have relocation support approval.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be expected to quickly embed within the Boeing International organization to gain understanding of key initiatives, processes and risks. This position would best suit an individual with experience of
working within a large global organization.
The candidate is expected to serve as a credible and reliable resource to our business and provide practical and timely support on a range of ethics and compliance topics and requirements. This position would best suit an
individual who is an experienced ethics and compliance professional ideally with leadership exposure.
The position will also require strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, collaboration, independent judgment, and the ability to influence others.
