Job Description

Our busy and talented teams often work across multiple properties, we need an experienced project coordinator who can confidently add value through successful communication by coordinating critical facets of projects that enable the team to achieve their objectives according to tight timelines, with optimal quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Managing Director, Property Managers & wider staff.
  • Ensure consistent, clear communication with contractors, tenants, and landlords, providing bigger picture visibility.
  • Documentation of R&M priorities, Construction Health & Safety, Monthly Reporting, and compliance matters. 
  • Property Management will be the foundation of this role, managing a portfolio of specific properties.
  • Respectfully negotiate lease terms with existing and new tenants.
  • Ensure strong relationships are maintained and client needs are understood and met.
  • Team support, we operate as a team and from time to time there will be additional shared duties.

The Successful Applicant:        

The successful applicant will be a natural multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise against competing demands. Undaunted by the prospect of juggling properties alongside projects with fluid timelines, you will be able to react to potential issues with logic and a proactive attitude and ensure that above all else communication with key parties is upheld.

A strong ability to work independently and in a professional manner is vital, combined with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to maintain effective relationships at all levels. Sound documentation and analytical skills combined with outstanding attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to collaborate, prioritise and work well within a diverse, motivated yet friendly environment. 

Highly regarded but not essential//

  • Experience with Xero Software.
  • Experience with Property Management software eg: Re-Leased.
  • Commercial property experience or building knowledge.
  • Understanding of council policies, District plans and building consents.

The position is based in the Hawkes- Bay office and is full-time – flexibility may be considered for the right candidate. There will be occasions where travel will be required, your own car is required, and mileage will be reimbursed. A mobile phone, laptop computer will be provided for business use
