About this role
Owns the one truth on all future activities (12 months to 5 years) on all SME impacting activities across Connectivity, Voice & Collaboration, Mobile, Security and Solutions (including new services like Business in a Box).
To act as the link between SoHo and SME on SoHo driven activities, ensuring alignment and prioritisation of SME requirements.
This role holds the “D†for the business case sign off on all activities impacting the SME P&L in the mid to long-term. They will hold consultation meetings with Commercial, Finance and Channel leads, and will provide key insight and data points to help drive to the right impact.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Future projects on truth and communicator: One voice for future project impacts across EE and BT and will communicate this upwards to Director level.
Business case validation: Key point of co-ordination on proposition related business cases – working closely with the planning manager for investment cases in the planning team.
Submitting the activities into the annual MTP process and tracking any changes regularly to the launch dates, proposition structural changes, scope changes and impact changes.

Subject matter expert on all activities that are to deliver in the mid to long-term future.
Work closely with the finance team on MTP/budget impacts of all future activities. They will also work very closely with the Props team where the majority of the future projects will be owned.
Drive the Digital agenda, interfacing with Digital team and be the Digital lead across the SME Commercial and Propositions team.
Drive the SME agenda for SoHo managed propositions including Business in a Box, Digital Marketing Hub, Social Club – ensuring consideration of SME requirements.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Commercial acumen – understanding of the levers that drive commercial performance including competitors, marketing, customer proposition, pricing, regulation/legal, sales and financials and what we need to dial up and dial down to maximise outcomes.
Financially literate: able to understand how operational performance of a customer proposition translates to financial outcomes in the form of a P&L. Support the development and assessment of complex business cases that may impact numerous parts of the business.
Outcome orientated: The role holder must be focused on delivering the best outcomes, being ready to challenge stakeholders as needed and manage areas of conflict with data driven recommendations to deliver at pace.
Exemplary Communicator: Verbal and PowerPoint presentations that boil complex plans and processes into the key relevant information and/or decision point for stakeholders in BT Enterprise.
Leadership and Stakeholder Management manages conflicting priorities bringing the virtual team and stakeholders with them on the journey:
