The Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Strategy and Operations team (S&O) drives the development and execution of our strategy and field operating model. This includes how the organization benefits customers and partners, enabling MCAPS to support them more effectively, efficiently, and with competitive differentiation. The team builds the connective tissue across MCAPS and MGB (Marketing & Gaming Business) to gain alignment and leverage existing capabilities, while empowering our people to be nimble, agile, successful, and thrilled to work for Microsoft.
This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join the newly created MCAPS Commercial Planning & Go-to-market (GTM) team within S&O. Our team leads Commercial planning, the planning priorities and execution, across MCAPS to enable an improved experience for our customers and field teams through coordinated improvements across revenue and investments, resource design, role success, GTM and landing. We also lead our GTM strategy, in partnership with MGB, and are accountable for our GTM experience and overall adoption.
About this role – Commercial Planning Coordinator
You will support our Commercial Planning Lead and planning team to manage our rhythm of business across all stakeholders, design and manage the workback plan established against our execution calendar and create and govern our planning assets. You will work closely will all of our planning leaders across MCAPS and MCB, as well as our solutions role owners to deliver against aggressive timelines and land a cohesive set of changes and experience for the field teams.

Responsibilities
Define, publish and maintain the core planning assets: Playbook, Calendar, Rhythm of Business (RoB), Project Plan
Develop and run the Planning RoBs across the Core Planning Leads, Strategy and Role Owners and in partnership with the field community leaders
Design the calendar and workback plan for the overall semester and full year plan, as well as the high impact project deliverables
Ensure effective communications and information sharing on progress and risks to ensure a transparent and inclusive planning process, that delivers on a common set of priorities, delivers on-time and drives business impact
Identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement year over year and deliver against semester agility when needed
Leverage listening mechanisms to analyze and understand corporate and field feedback related to the planning process
Design and execute a reporting/measure of success approach to evaluate the planning process and the level of satisfaction across stakeholders
Qualifications
3+ years' experience in a business operations or project management role, preferably in large enterprise-level organizations.
BA Degree in Specializing Business or related field.
Proven experience managing large projects with complex stakeholder engagement and bold deliverables and timelines
Strong project management skills: identify needs, designing effective solutions, building, and executing highly successful programs at scale through to completion.
Effective analytical and project management skills, to deliver on time and deliver impact.
Ability to work independently and effectively, driving successful outcomes with virtual teams.
Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to influence and execute effectively in cross-functional environments.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Location/Travel: Depending on working hours, work from home arrangements are available. Flexibility to accommodate US time zone is often required to attend critical meetings. Routine travel and international travel in support of projects and organizational alignment will be occasional up to 10% contingent upon Covid 19 travel restrictions.
Work Hours: This opportunity requires collaboration with worldwide stakeholders. Working on flexible business hours to connect with global stakeholders will be required to perform duties as outlined. Schedules will be flexible to support work-life balance and specific project/program needs.
