Commercial Manager

Location: The Speechmark, London, Southwark (Blended working*)
Salary: Competitive + Excellent benefits
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hrs

What will you be doing? 


You'll be responsible for commercial strategy & performance and of our products and propositions. Including evaluating performance versus target, identifying insights and recommending optimisation actions. 

 

You will lead on analysis of the drivers behind product performance, working with proposition managers and pricing managers to optimise performance of our new proposition and product offerings. The role is primarily focused on our core mobile propositions (new handset, sim only and mobile broadband) where your remit encompasses the wider portfolio including handset trade-in, device financing, base & upgrade propositions, roaming & international, insurance, additional lines and watches/eSim. The remit also spans into into fixed mobile convergence.  Your focus with be now to 6 months in the future, but you will also design new propositions looking well into the future.


Who are we looking for?  


•    A track record of finding strategic & customer insights from data and present in a clear simple way to senior management 
•    Strong strategic and commercial skills with proven experience evaluating a problem statement, specifying and performing analysis then turning analytical insight into actions plans
•    Experience developing business cases in collaboration with finance and strategy teams
•    Thorough understanding of the mobile market, including working in a commercial or financial role directly related to this market
•    Good knowledge of SQL required with knowledge of other languages (Python /SAS/R beneficial)
