About this role
The commercial team within Channel Partnerships are the gate keepers of value. We need to ensure partners within Channel Partnerships deliver and exceed on volume and value targets
It is critical that the partnerships are managed to ensure all commercials opportunities are capitalised on, risks mitigated, and issues closed
Working through complex contracts and delivering the best outcome for the business.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Central, commercial and contractual lead for a number of Channel Partnership partners / channels
Identify and exploit commercial opportunities and risks to maximise and protect value for EE
Financial modelling and analytics to support commercial planning & decision making, partner performance, negotiation strategy
Supporting other existing and new channel partnerships from a commercial perspective – Insight and ad hoc analysis as well as looking at opportunities to drive incremental value
Representing BT’s interests in negotiations with new partnerships, securing the best deal possible within the business case
Owning the commercial delivery and performance in-life, ensuring all aspects of the contract are being adhered to, and dealing with ad hoc contract issues as they arise.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Telco experience
Commercial partnerships
Finance experience and ideally either CIMA qualified / part qualified
Experience in negotiating commercial terms, managing risks, balancing impact on the business
Knowledge of financial and legal implication
Strong influencing and relationship skills
Experience working with multiple Finance teams
Ability to influence internal stakeholders
Able to identify commercial levers and mechanisms to influence commercial performance
Understanding of trading performance and budget ownership
Commercial modelling skills
Understanding of client relationship management, legal contract management, complex negotiation, finance and commercial
