The main challenge for this role is how you will build commercial positions that will shape our customers future? We need you to build commercial and pricing solutions that will blow the socks off our customers. We need you to get inside the minds of our customers, understand their challenges and then create commercial plans that compel them to act and choose BT.
It’s about thinking differently
The commercial and proposition team for CPS is responsible for setting and delivering the business plan for the segment by creating the right portfolio and the right commercial/trading plan to deliver the business and customer outcomes to win in the market and grow the business profitably.
The small print
This role will lead on ensuring our fantastic value propositions are translated into impactful trading that makes a key contribution to CPS P&L growth:
Understanding the current trading performance of Digital Transformation and Vertical solutions (working with peers in CPS Commercial) and whether this is on MTP targets
Work with Propositions Managers to define target cohorts of customers for existing and new digital solutions, translating this into business and trading benefits – and then track performance and MTP contribution
Analyse trading for insights and along with market and competitors insights, recommend commercial interventions (e.g. campaigns, price changes, commercial bundle innovation), including modelling the benefits and costs
Work with the regional partnering managers to implement commercial interventions that deliver positive growth in channel
Management of key stakeholders so that everyone is understand the commercial trading trajectory and is on board with interventions – primarily the sales leadership and colleagues.
