We are seeking applications from experienced clinical coders to join our team as an Auditor. Working with the clinical coding team, the Auditor continue with the established programme of internal audit for clinical coding at CCDHB in addition to supporting the ongoing learning and professional development of coders. There may be requirement to provide training from time to time.
The role requires extensive clinical coding experience and knowledge, proven experience in clinical coding audit, ability with adult learning techniques, and a strong commitment to improving coding quality.
The successful candidate will be competent to take a collegial leadership role in one of Capital & Coast's most important business support teams, and to work with the Manager to develop and maintain a high quality coding output.

You will be working with a passionate and dedicated team of 11 clinical coders processing approximately 75,000 inpatient events per annum. Our team are committed to meeting reporting deadlines whilst providing excellent quality coding, therefore it is very important to us that our coders have a proven history of commitment to team work, using their initiative and producing high quality work.
