CNC PRESS BRAKE OPERATORS

A West Auckland Sheetmetal company specialising in sheetmetal engineering require TWO experienced CNC Press Brake Setter Operators

TWO JOBS available for either Afternoon or Graveyard Shifts:

Afternoon Shift - 3.30pm – Midnight (Mon – Fri)

Graveyard Shift â€“ 11.00pm – 7.30am (Mon – Fri)

Role and Responsibilities

• CNC Press Brake Machine Setting / Operating / Folding
• Some basic programming, bending mild and stainless steel.
• Safely set up and operate CNC Press Brake (Duram, Amada, Trumpf)
• Programming CNC Press Brake from drawings
• Fabricating parts in a time efficient way
• Helping to maintain machinery
• Cutting, drilling and finishing as required
• Checking parts using digital / vernier callipers, protractors and measuring tape
• Assisting with any other tasks as required
• Self-motivated with the initiative to work independently
• Physical fitness appropriate to the demands of the position
• Good verbal and written communication. Must be fluent in English.
• Be currently living in NZ & have the right to work in NZ holding an NZ Work Visa

Job Details:

Type:             Permanent Fulltime Positions

Start:              ASAP

Wage:             $27-$35/hr neg with skills, experience, qualifications

Location:        West Auckland, NZ

Overtime:       Overtime as available

Hours:             Afternoon Shift - 3.30pm – Midnight (Mon – Fri)

                        Graveyard Shift â€“ 11.00pm – 7.30am (Mon – Fri)
