Job Responsibility

 
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:  
•    Maintains strong understanding of the capabilities, strengths and weaknesses of the key BI & Analytics services technologies across Vodafone, available on the market and in particular GCP 
•    Own the overall solution strategy for BI & Analytics and design for re-use. Maintains oversight and governance of data, technical design decisions. 
•    Ownership of the end-to-end solution design for main programmes like: Neuron, Nucleus and cloud migrations, Dynamo, AI Booster
•    Line manages, guides, coaches & develops the team of Senior Solution Engineers 
•    Strong alignment with architecture, platform, and delivery teams 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience: 
•    Extensive practical experience of implementing large scale BI & Analytics systems utilising cloud and high-volume/low cost storage capabilities. 
•    Extensive in-depth knowledge of a broad spectrum of BI, Analytics and Data Movement technologies on cloud and on prem 
•    Extensive experience of designing, building, and deploying re-usable and configurable solutions 
•    Able to communicate and influence effectively across a rangeof technology stakeholders  at the highest level e.g. C level at Group and Markets level
•    Mentor and coach to develop their team and wider community.  
•    Experience in working Safe Agile delivery framework.
  

Must have technical / professional qualifications:  
•    Cloud Architecture/Network/Security certification (AWS/GCP)
