Taranaki Base Hospital, New Plymouth

1.0FTE (80 Hours per Fortnight)

You will be accountable for the management of the allied health, nursing and administration team and ensuring high quality, safe clinical practice standards and the best care outcomes.  You will be a strong, credible clinical leader that can build and maintain strong working relationships across a range of child, youth and whanau centred services.

Preferred candidates will have the following:

  • Registered Health Professional with relevant NZ Practising Certificate.
  • Post graduate qualification in Mental Health field is desirable.
  • Advanced training in a therapeutic modality with Child and Adolescent scope/experience.
  • Experience working therapeutically with eating disorders, younger children and risk is desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years post graduate clinical experience
  • Sound knowledge of Equity principles, a commitment to bi-culturalism and demonstrable application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations.
