The Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Clinical Support Nurse Neurology/ Medical 0.6 EFT Permanent to join the team at Northern Health.

The Clinical Support Nurse Neurology/Medical is an important leader within the clinical team, and a role model of excellence in clinical practice and life-long learning. Supporting all level of learners and staff, specifically the Neurology/Medical Division.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Desirable minimum 2 years' experience in clinical education
• 3 years acute experience
• Relevant experience in clinical education and knowledge of undergraduate programs and supervision
• Current knowledge of acute and post-acute patient care
• Experience in supervision and training
• Qualifications in clinical education and training or equivalent, or working toward
• Highly Effective communication skills
• Excellent team collaborative skills
• High level of enquiry
• Current AHRPA registration as registered nurse/midwife
• Postgraduate qualification in relevant specialty (neurology/medical/clinical education)
• Current National Police and Working with Children History Check
