An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist experienced in Mental Health to join the Southern Rivers Community Mental Health team based in Gore. This role providesoutpatient clinics and outreach services to people living in Gore and the wider Clutha area.
We are an innovative service, looking to develop our model of delivery towards a stepped care approach. Clinicians are motivated to provide optimal treatment through thorough assessment and continued multi-disciplinary team co-ordination of treatment.

You will be a motivated individual, keen to make a difference and who thrives in a busy and diverse working environment. It goes with saying you will possess excellent communication and team working skills and will be able to work well under pressure and stressful situations. Having experience of working with adult patients with mental illness in a community setting, this role which combines assessment, treatment and psychotherapy for people experiencing both acute and longstanding psychological conditions and issues.
The Clinical Psychologist is an integral and valued member of the multidisciplinary team responsible for the provision of patient-centred interventions.
