About The Opportunity
The Macarthur Assertive Treatment Team (MATT) is seeking a temporary part-time clinical psychologist for three days per week to complement and enhance the current team.
The preferred candidate will provide psychological intervention to existing consumers of the service using evidence based treatment modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

What you'll be doing
Delivering specialist psychological and psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, interventions and consultation in order to address the needs of consumers who are living with complex mental health problems and disorders.
The role also participates in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services and assists in the development
and provision of education and training programs. Additionally, the role supervises Psychologists and other disciplines working within the LHD according to organisational needs.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.
Demonstrated competence in a wide range of psychological assessments and evidence based psychological treatments delivered on an individual and/or group basis
Demonstrated experience working independently in the provision of patient/consumer-focused care.
Demonstrated knowledge of the quality improvement process for service development, implementation and evaluation.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved patient and/or consumer care and outcomes.
Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.
Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
