The role: Our consultants provide advice, support and training in the use of clinical assessments to professionals and organisations in allied health and education. Our Clinical Assessments team in Australia is seeking an experienced occupational therapist for the role of Occupational Therapy Consultant.
This outstanding opportunity will suit a qualified Occupational Therapist who has an interest in developing skills in sales, account management, marketing and training.
Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, you will occasionally be required to travel within Australia and New Zealand in order to provide product demonstrations and/or training, or to attend conferences showcasing Pearson's OT product range. Your excellent presentation skills will enable you to train clinicians and students in the administration and interpretation of assessment tools and you will be adept at using your OT knowledge to understand and respond to clients' needs when choosing new assessment tools to purchase.
You will apply your OT analytical and problem solving skills to provide input into Pearson's business development and go-to-market strategies to support Pearson's growth in the occupational therapy field. You will be able to translate your rapport-building and care giving skills ensuring customers have an outstanding customer experience. Additionally, you will be highly organised and have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
To be successful in this role you will:
Be AHPRA registered (mandatory)
Use your industry experience and consultative sales skills to understand our clients' needs and generate revenue for our business
