About the role
Clinic Registered Nurse
Key responsibilities include:
Provide primary health care clinical services and participate in care planning
Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team including GP’s and visiting specialists
Assist GP’s with procedures
Provide advice, education and referrals
Manage vaccine storage and management
Participate in chronic disease management of clients and provide education to clients and their families
Maintain and educate staff on infection control principles, policies and procedures
Lead quality improvement in the delivery of client services
Oversee the management of recalls and reminders
To be successful in the role you will have:
Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
National police clearance and working with children check
Flu vaccination and Covid-19 vaccinations
Current drivers’ licence
Valid CPR certificate
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of the standards required for documentation and electronic data management
Commitment to ongoing participation in education, professional development, evidence-based research and quality assurance
A high level of clinical skills and motivation to provide excellent service
Ability to problem solve and explain complex issues
Sexual Health Registered Nurse
Key responsibilities include:
Support and promote the integration of STI testing into routine primary health care
Clinical management of clients and named contacts
Testing, treatment, contact tracing and follow-up
Management of recalls and reminders
Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team including GP’s and visiting specialists
Promote, deliver and utilise the “test and treat†model
Support and develop other members of the team
Provide advice, education and referrals for clients as necessary
To be successful in the role you will have:
Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
National police clearance and working with children check
Flu vaccination and Covid-19 vaccinations
Current drivers’ licence
Valid CPR certificate
Demonstrated experience with sexual health
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of the standards required for documentation and electronic data management
