This main developer/main contractor has a unique business model, they are a known quality apartment builder with innovative design contributing significantly to meeting Auckland’s housing issues. They have a full programme of work ahead into 2022 and forecast to double in the next 2 – 3 years.

The role sits across their development side from managing the design through to managing the delivery by their internal contractor side of the business. The focus will be on facilitating design, development, council sign offs, establishing consultant agreements, stakeholder management and coordination, contractual management, programme management, H&S documentation reviews, practical completion certificates   and warranties management interacting the construction team.

We are looking for a consultancy project manager with strong experience worked on vertical commercial build projects across including multi level apartments, retirement or hotels for at least 6 years. A relearnt degree in construction management, architecture or quantity surveying is ideal.

You should be able to liaise across a range of stakeholder and be focused on delivering at pace. You should have a demonstrated ability to be able to effectively manage contractors and act as a key interface. You thrive on results, can resolve problems and sooth over issues in a busy and quicky changing work environment.

Salary: $130K - $140K + veh pending experience.
