Client Platforms Validation Technical Program Manager – 128181

The Role:

Technical Program Management role partnering with the Technical Validation Lead. Building the overall test schedule including key milestones, test phases and key cross dependencies. Playing a role in improving our Validation Process that cover Feature and Test Development, Program Management methodology and Tools to optimize and simplify our planning and tracking.

The Person:

An experienced lead engineer with background in SoC/product validation. The candidate must possess post-Silicon validation experience and should demonstrate abilities to develop and implement end-to-end solutions to configure next-gen SoC/system for system validation.

If you like organizing things and helping teams deliver sophisticated programs, we are looking for you! In addition, this role gives exposure to complex technical topics and works closely with our Release Management team to align our feature delivery in coordination with the FW and SW teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tracking progress to milestones, key issues and drive problem resolution where required.
• Key PM lead for the validation organization interacting with the Platform Core Team and prepare status/summary presentations for executive program reviews.
• Collaborate with the Validation Test Leads, Validation Managers and Systems Engineers to lead creation of our test plan and schedule for silicon programs. Scope of planning covers, test cycles, equipment needs, resourcing and schedules.
• Monitoring, tracking, and reporting of execution progress through the program Lifecycle.
• From a leadership point of view, collaborate with other Leads to make priority calls related to test, equipment, people, or issue focus.
• Lead test planning or execution tracking meetings with key team members. Drive regular interlock sessions with overall team or key domain areas.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in client PC or server system design and validation; OS based testing tools and environments; and failure resolution and tracking.
• Experience Program Managing complex technical programs and delivering on schedule
• Experience working in SOC/System organization
• Ability to organize data and communicate sophisticated topics to all levels of organization, presentations to executive level
• Knowledge of JIRA, Power BI, Confluence, MS Project
• Solid understanding of release management
• Ability to network, build relationships and ability to converge decisions on sophisticated topics
• PMP certification a plus

Academic Credentials:

Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or computer science
