Cleaning operative 

Cheltenham

20 hrs per week, Part-time - Monday - Friday 18:00 pm 22:00 pm

£10.26 per hour, plus £2,000 annual Retention Bonus (pro rata)

This role and contract sit within our Facilities Management sector of G4S where we aim to improve the lives of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments.

We are looking for Cleaners to provide a full and comprehensive cleaning service to our prestigious contract, based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, where you will provide an exceptional service to our high-profile client. 

This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week evenings Monday to Friday, from 18:00 pm to 22:00 pm. 

The hourly rate for this role is £10.26 per hour plus market supplement of 50p per hour between the hours of 6 pm and 10 pm, £1.50 per hour for the hours worked between 10pm and midnight and £2.00 per hour for the hours worked between midnight and 2 am.

Key Responsibilities:

• To work as a member of the G4S cleaning team providing a high level Cleaning Service.

• Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe working environment.

• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with daily operating procedures.

• Be prepared to undertake and provide cover for staff absences.

• Provide services during a crisis.

• Work safely and efficiently and with due regard for Health and Safety.

• Comply with all training that is required.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
