He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Full Time Cleaning Assistant to work at our Royal New Zealand Air Force Base site in Whenuapai, Waitakere-Auckland. Hours of work are rostered across 7 days, however this does include occasional weekend work.

This is not your average Cleaning Assistant opportunity - this is a chance to challenge yourself in a unique environment while working with premium service and product.

Ko o kawenga/Your responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for cleaning of hospitality areas and equipment, including bed making, preparing rooms for guests, rubbish removal, maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals and other tasks as required.  You will have to be able to follow Health & Safety requirements, written instruction as well as fill out documentation on cleaning schedules.

If you're our ideal candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience working in commercial cleaning and will have a flexible attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be fit and capable of physical activity as heavy lifting is involved.
